The techniques employed to construct these pans are used very successfully in the field of ballistic armour manufacturing, this results in unrivalled impact resistance. A triple weave of glass fiber provides unrivalled strength and when compared to solid surface alternatives the WC01-series less prone to acute failure due to the glass fiber absorbing impact stress over a wider area.

These toilets are considerably lighter than a traditional solid surface toilet. This results in lower installation costs, and lower freight costs. The lighter weight also means that they are less physically demanding when installing.
